Gouge's novel is a tale of love, hope, joy...and laughter!

ONCE THERE WAS A WAY BACK HOME is one of the most uplifting novels I've read in a long time. It's the story of a young woman who left her unfaithful husband, Buck (also a pro football player) and made a life for herself and son, Billy, in a sleepy Colorad town. Ten years later, Buck seeks her and their son out, claiming he's a Christian and a changed man. The question is...is he really?Since Janice is not a believer, she can't understand the change in her former husband, and while Buck tries to win her back, there are triumphs and tears as well as a few giggles. Finally there is rejoicing as God begins to get a hold of Janice's heart.ONCE THERE WAS A WAY BACK HOME is a beautiful illustration of how Jesus Christ seeks us out and draws us to Him. It's also a wonderful picture of how broken lives can be made whole again because of the saving grace of God!

A tale of love reclaimed through faith

Janice and Buck's marriage failed ten years ago. Now he has found God and wants to make amends for his past sins, but Janice and their son find it difficult to forgive him and allow him back into their lives. The conflict in this story is very real and human, and the faith element is closely interwoven into the story. If you like Christian romance and stories of healed families, you will enjoy Once There Was a Way Back Home.
