Shane Tremont has never forgotten his ex-wife Tish, especially the way she drove him crazy, both good and bad. After an in-the-line-of-duty injury from protecting the president's daughter, Shane has suddenly found himself engaged to none other than the first daughter. But the first time he sees Trish at the president's ranch, talking away with his fiancée, Shane realizes all those old feelings might still be there. I so enjoyed this book! ONCE SMITTEN, TWICE SHY has everything a good read should have. Two dynamic leads, sizzling chemistry between the two and a nice dose of humor keep this reader turning the pages straight through. I have to say one of my favorite scenes in the book is shortly after Shane is introduced to Tish, who'll be the videographer for his upcoming nuptials. Unsure what to do, he follows her down to the bathroom to try and talk her out of it. But when his new fiancée comes in and says she knows all about the history between the two, well it's just too enjoyable of a scene! ONCE SMITTEN, TWICE SHY is the second book in Ms. Wilde's Wedding Veil Wishes series. I look forward to reading the next book in this fabulous series, due out October 2008. Wonderful series

The second book in the wedding veil wishes series is even better than the first and I loved that one as well. Can't wait for number three.

Love the second time around

Tish Gallagher is a wedding photographer who needs a break after bad financial setbacks. She needs money fast and wishes on a special wedding veil her friend gave her that is supposed to make her wishes of money and success come true. Shane Tremont is Tish's ex who belongs to the secret service. It is his duty to protect first daughter Elysee Benedict. Unfortunately after he saves Elysee during an event he gets injured and recoups at the Benedict ranch in Texas. During this time Shane and Elysee get engaged. Shortly after Tish wishes on the wedding veil she is shocked to get a call from Elysee Benedict asking for an interview to see if Tish is the right one to film the wedding. Tish goes over and finds out the Elysee is engaged to her ex husband. At first Tish does not want to tell Elysee, but Elysee already knows. Elysee wanted Tish and Shane to work out the problems between them so they all could be like Bruce, Ashton and Demi. What Elysee does not realize is that there is a lot of sparks still left for the former love birds. Added to the plot is Elysee's involvement with WorldFem an organization that helps females in trouble. Elysee's old nanny is also involved and asked her to help an Indian woman escape from India and her family (who want her dead after she married an American.) The whole thing hits the fan at Elysee and Shanes engagment dinner, and what happens afterward make this book a great read.

Great fun

Dottie, [...] Tish, a budding wedding videographer, is trying to get her business in the black. However, she is going through a rough time - her car is repossessed, her maxed out credit cards cut up right in front of her and her internet and cable are shut off. She needs customers badly. Seeing the wedding veil she received from her best friend, and which is supposed to give the bearer her heart's desire, she makes a wish. Then she gets a call from the President's daughter, who wants to hire her to videotape her wedding. Exclusive rights to videotape the President's daughter - it is a dream come true - until Tish finds out the groom is Shane. This is the hardest thing she has ever done. Will she be able to do it? Will Tish get her heart's desire? Is it her career or Shane? I absolutely loved reading ONCE SMITTEN, TWICE SHY, the second book in the Wedding Veil Wishes series. This book is definitely a treasure! Filled with laughter, romance, sensuality and a touch of magic, this off-the-wall romance will be a delight to readers of many genres. The strong, handsome hero and the feisty heroine will become favorites for many readers. I highly suggest that you put ONCE SMITTEN, TWICE SHY at the top of your `must read' list. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series.

Great Series

I love this series. It's fun and poignant. I love the magic wedding veil. I wish I had one of my own. I can't wait for Rachael's story in book three. Shane is a delicious hero and while Tish is hard to understand at first when you learn why she acts the way she does your heart will just break for her.
