Excellent book for those who believe in a loving God

This is the most incredible book. It has the power to change lives. Too often, many people buy into the fear based religious dogma and under the auspice of being "Christian" spew venom and hatred as was shown here by some reviewers. As a person who once considered becoming a nun, I always knew that the God I worshiped could not possibly be the same one written about in the bible. After all, I believed in a loving and forgiving God. A God who loves all his children just as he created them. How unfortunate for those people who believe that our God is capable of the type of hatred they seem to espouse.Thank goodness I woke up and realized I could better serve humanity if I didn't commit myself to a religion that makes women into second class citizens and uses words written in a book over two thousand years ago by mere mortal men, as the basis for their "religion". The bible is a nice work of fiction and nothing more than that. Wings is a wonderful book for those of us raised in traditional religions yet felt there was much more to the story. As the mother of two wonderful children, I feel it is very important that my children learn that love comes in all different shapes and sizes. Love and God do not decide your worthiness based upon your gender, your race or even your sexuality. For those who put the book down before Chapter 3, Bless your hearts. You clearly have much work to do yet on yourselves. There is much more to this book than it's standpoint on [homoesexual] people. You truly missed a wonderful opportunity to see God as he really is. All loving....

This book has changed my life and has the power to change the world. It speaks of God's love and carries the message for all to hear. If you beleive in Angels and Miracles you must read this book and share it with the world. I will always be grateful to Mr. Crane and Mr. Hardin.

Exciting true story and uplifting spiritually

Do you believe in angels appearing to men in the 1990's? If not, suspend your disbelief long enough to hear and interesting tale.Great gifts are being bestowed on humanity again, 2000 years after the time of Christ, thanks to heavenly intervention. "Now is the time to make things clear so God's plan can happen," says the angel.Joseph Crane, a Vietnam veteran, first heard an unseen voice save his life as bombs were exploding on his aircraft carrier off the coast of Vietnam. Now later in life he is dumbfounded as a bright dot of intense light in his bedroom grows in size till it reveals an angel who wants to speak to him while his wife is sleeping in bed by his side. The angel, whose eyes are like those of a thousand lovers melted into one and whom his names Michael, appears to Joe many times between 1994-95 revealing messages giving a more correct understanding of what Christ taught while on earth. Churches, and even the original evangelist writers, sometimes skewed the message to suit their own purposes.In particular, the angel goes through the Book of Revelation or Apocalypse from the New Testament and shows Joe the same visions John the Evangelist witnessed. He insists Joe write down what he saw and asks Joe to explain it, correcting him when the interpretation is wrong. He instructs Joe and his friend G.W. Hardin to publish it in a book and this is that book.

A Heavenly Delight!

Do you believe in angels? I am a spiritual person, and I was not sure if I believed in angels or not. Once I read best-selling author's G.W. Hardin's book, "On the Wings of Heaven," I believe there are angels. I believe there is something more for our community. What was the most interesting in for me within the book's context were the beliefs about gay and lesbian spirituality. The angel shared:"As long as humankind has walked the earth, there have been people who are gay - perfect, whole and complete just the way they are. You see, the more a religion gets accepted, the more self-righteous it becomes in good-versus-evil. When outside forces begin to let up, pressure begins building from within for conformity, beginning with the smallest number of members who act differently or think differently from the majority. The religion's actions become no better than those of its earlier persecutors. However, their persecution is now done in the name of God or Jesus or the Bible."''Sex is a gift from God for you to give to the one you love as your gift of affection. There is nothing bad or wrong with what gender you give this gift to. It is up to you. However, it is the choice of the receiver to accept it or not. If you go whoring, you must understand that you are only wasting time."The message throughout the book to me was: "God is a God only of love. God created me gay because he wants me to learn something different...something special for life."I attended G.W. Hardin's book signing on August 31 at The Luminary. Joe Crane's story is one that is totally uplifting and confirms what so many of us already have suspected. That's it's all about teaching Love and not getting hung up on the dogmas of the religions. If we could only take a fraction of this book and work with it, this planet would be a much better place to live in. The beautiful messages by Angel Michael can be taught on a worldwide basis for they permeate the boundaries of any language...when will we ever "get it" as a planet that it's all about love and respect and that God loves us more than we can even imagine. That he is not a punishing God. This book will take you to another level of spirituality. I strongly recommend it to everyone and if I could afford to, I'd have it published in every language! It speaks the truth and confirms that many in this world are indeed having angels appear to them and we all can't be crazy! Bravo Joe and Gary for your incredible courage to write this!
