My interest in this book stems more from its construction than its content. Billed as a participatory mystery, the book is structured in a series of passages which each end with a choice to be made by the reader. The choices lead to a page number where the story picks up. Each choice the reader makes has a consequence for the story and no two stories are exactly the same. The content is basically a mystery set in London of the 1640's. I will admit that I haven't yet completed it, but if you are enthusiasctic at taking part in a mystery and crafting the outcome yourself by the choices you make, then try this book. You can't go wrong at that price. In some ways this book is more like a game than a book.
