Book Overview

Another tough choice... Ever since Melanie Graham came to live with her cousin Christina Reese, she's had her eye on the track. She wants to be an exercise rider, and maybe one day, a winning jockey. With her aunt Ashleigh's Thoroughbreds. And she loves it. Finally, she's discovered her calling. But Christina is jealous. She's been acting weird ever since Melanie began working with Ashleigh. Melanie desperately wants to continue her training, but...

Great!

A great book and I recumend it to all the readers of the THOROUGHBRED Series! Melanie seems to be kind of mean to Christina in the begining but like always they work it out! =~)

Best book of all!

I think that was the best book of the TB books! It was the first book that mad me cry!It only took me two days to read this Book because it was so good! I think it was a good book because it followed the rest of the TB series.I would recommend this book to any one who loves horses and racing! but i would not recommend this book to people who have never read the TB series.

Ummm

I haven't read this book yet though I agree with most of you- the new authors should GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT and as for the covers- A LOT of them have mistakes...such as: in Wonders Champion- is that a starting gate behind Cindy on Champion? Meaning that they are at a race...Cindy doesn't ride in races...no one is wearing silks, and in Pride's Challange, Pride is training on turf- Pride didn't even train on turf, and in Glory's Triumph- he is wearing a blanket of roses- he didn't win the Derby and why would Cindy be in the saddle?, and the first 2 covers in The Ashleigh's Series and just bad drawings- but the cover don't effect the story at all so it shouldn't make that big of a deal out of it. Anyways like I said- The authors SHOULD GET THE FACTS RIGHT- it is soooo fustrating when they don't!

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can not believe it!! Racing is finally back. Just so you know the way the book was written was all wrong!! The writer said that Seabrezze was a pony!! She is not a pony she is a mare. The writer said that Leap of Faith was a dappled gray, and she is not!! She is a chestnut. I like this series, but it needs to be written correctly!!!

YAHOO!!!!

Finally, a book focussed on racing. I know, we Thoroughbred fans who are tired of Christina and her love life with Dylan. FINALLY have a REAL book about the track. But, there goes that brat again, none other than Christina. I mean, hello? Melanie has had a VERY hard life, with her mom dying, and yeah, she can be a pill sometimes, but give her a break!
