On Swallow's Wings

With this colloquial and simple language, although not without poetic devices in which the soul is torn by my loss and the longing for my land, I want to deliver you, my readers, to whom, of course, this booklet is also dedicated, the best of my poetic feelings. Therefore, without secrecy or disguise, I share with you the desire that it will not be hard to get the message that reaches you, through the wings of a swallow, traveling in pursuit of its aspirations. Poetry has wings to travel the world./ It knows different languages, / denounces evil, / speaks of love./ It also walks through the streets/ and approaches sensitive people/ in its continuous struggle./ Sometimes the mud covers it/ but it also emerges/ from the warm breeze of the forest /that spreads it everywhere.
