A lot of information presented in a basic kids' book

My 3 y.o. son was fascinated by the Earth, so I bought this book to give us a simple way to explain some basic concepts to him. It explains about the earth's axis, the equator, the earth's orbit, revolving, rotating, gravity, and the sun. It also gives us an opportunity to teach him the months. There is also a picture of the solar system, which lends itself to a discussion about the planets. Really, a lot of information packed into a basic kids' book. He has brought me this book to read to him every night for about a month now.

I purchased this book for my 2nd grader who loves science. The book was great at explaining some difficult material. The book really helped give us ideas for a project required by his school. We enjoyed it! Very well written.
