Orion and his loyal comrades make a perilous journey from Elis to Athens where they must convince the suspicious Athenian council to put down their shields. The Olympic Games are renewed, but not without political implications. Colorful characters participate, serving to intensify the brutality of the era through boxing, chariot races and javelin throwing; games played with few rules and plenty of aggression. Olympia 420 is a story rich with sports and action. Jennifer Herzog carefully illustrated Olympia 420 with concise pen and ink maps, sporting events and vivid images.
