Old Time Gardens

What a delightful book this is. An truly old-fashioned journey to the gardens of yesteryear. For anyone interested in creating some old-fashioned landscapes for any type of garden, this is a must read. The author gives insights into how these gardens came about from immigrants collecting and bringing seeds from their homelands and re-creating the gardens of their youth. There are some nice black and and white photographs of famous gardens with quotations interspersed. A wonderful winter read.
