Classic animal-welfare story with a happy ending!

I really love this book. It's a great story of a horse that is unhappily "retired." Great drawings on every page, easy to read for beginning reader, great to read to kids, I would say ages 4 and up. A wonderful book for youngsters; it's a shame it's out of print.
