Old Macdonald Had a Farm

My 4 year old loves this book! The illustrations are bold, colorful and fun and each animal has a fuzzy texture. It's heavy duty cardboard makes it durable and able to withstand 3 young children using it. We love to sing the song and act out the animal sounds. I would highly recommend this book

Sing along and have fun!

I purchased this book for 2 reasons: 1) we own "My Puppy" by Salina Yoon and are very pleased with it and 2) my daughter LOVES the song "Old MacDonald" and anything having to do with animals. This board book is very thick and sturdy, and will certainly stand up to my daughter. It is cut out so that you can turn the page by grabbing the animals that you see on the front. Also, the cut out animals all have a tiny bit of fuzz on them, and my daughter liked that surprise. My husband and I sing as we turn the pages and point at the animals and the words and my daughter gets so excited! This book enhances the song because my child not only hears the music and the animal noises, but she can see and touch the animals too -- she really enjoys this book. My only complaint is that there should be a last page that says "Old MacDonald had a farm. E-I-E-I-O" to kind of wrap everything up instead of simply ending with the "Everywhere a quack quack."
