Childhood Favorite

I have three younger brothers and when we were children we loved this book. Now that we are having children of our own we have each purchased a copy for our families. Our kids love the beautiful illustrations of fixing up an old farm. Farmer Field has bought a old run down farm and goes about fixing everything up and making all the animals happy. It is my daughter's first choice for story time every night. She likes to point to the different animals and tell me what they are. There is something special about a story that talks about renewing a farm, making things right again. To not labor in vain. We just wish this book wasn't out of print and so very hard to find.

Childhood remembered

My brother, sister and I each loved this book growing up. Now that I am starting a family, I can't wait to share it with my child. This is a great book for any child, but really hits home with farm kids!
