O'Hara's Friend

Finis Farr was a prolific author. He wrote not only this O'Hara bio, but spy thrillers, and was a social historian and screenwriter, though disapointingly not much of his ouevre survives today, other than the O'Hara bio. It has a fairly good reputation, though there are those here and there that say he took too much of what O'Hara told him literally - they were close friends. I am an old O'Hara enthusiast - I have loved and read him for 30+ years now. My most recent find is "The Art of Burning Bridges", a delightful bio by Geoffrey Wolfe. Get that too while you are at it - he refers to the Farr bio numerous times.
