Great, gentle children's book

I discovered this book quite by accident in the local library and loved it so much I had to buy it. The line drawings are wonderful, perfectly complimenting the text. It's a gentle, loving story with just the right touches of humor and everyday life. One of my son's favorite books for a long period of time: 2 - 5 years.
