Whimsical Book Based on the Movie

In fact, when it comes out on DVD later this month, we'll be sure to snatch it up. We have several books based on this movie, and the newest of our acquisitions is Oh, Brother! Rather than featuring slick stills from the movie, this unusual softcover book recreates key scenes using what looks like fabric and other materials--giving it a neat 3-D effect. At 24-pages, the sentences are short with the illustrations taking up most of the page. This means that Oh, Brother! is a perfect book for beginner readers (and as a short bedtime story!) Linguini and Colette make an appearance in this book, as does the crazy old lady who owns the house Remy and Emile raided (remember the lightning strike?). If you're looking for an appropriate book for youngsters based on the Ratatouille movie, Oh, Brother will be sure to please both kids and adults!
