Qahar Aasi's poems range from romantic ghazals, to patriotic du-baitis (two verse), to cries of exile in free-verse. This collection is a small token of appreciation of Dari literature and an attempt to bring Aasi's poems to the Afghan diaspora around the world. Presented in both English and Dari, these translations are my way of thanking Aasi and ode to his ever-green, inimitable poems.
