Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) can tear apart a family. Often family and friends have tried to "stop" a loved one's OCD--with little success. This is the first book specifically for the family and friends of someone with OCD.
Provides answers to the question- how do I try to help someone with OCD without hurting myself? At the OC Foundation national headquarters we literally receive thousands of inquiries for help from families trying to cope with a loved one's OCD. This is the first book that addresses this difficult topic and remains one of our most recommended book for families living with OCD.

For years our family didn't know how to deal with this problem. It seemed like anything we did could set off my sons ocd. This book showed us what we could do (and couldn't do) to help.At times the book has a hard edge to it And gives advice that some people rather not hear, but our family needed to read & hear what was written, and as a result we are all doing better. A must if someone with ocd is making you crazy.A grateful reader from: The Bronx, NY

Five Stars. Superb! Short and to the point. I plan to order a second book for someone in our family who really needs it. Anyone who has lived with this knows how hard it can be to watch someone you love suffering. This was the only book that told us what to do to stop the OCD from taking over our lives. People who are ill with OCD may not like the changes the family has to make--but in the end we are all doing better as a result. A winner!

I have personally recommended this book to many families struggling with a loved one's OCD. In a caring, but firm way, Roy shows families how to recover from the battleground that can be OCD. If you love someone that has OCD, this book can make a difference. Jeannette Cole, Deputy Director Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation, Inc.
