Animals have been part of mankind's life since the dawn of history. Parents are able to leverage God's creations to help teach their children valuable life lessons.

For example, a dog can teach your children about how to use their sense of smell and loyalty, as petting a dog will often result in a loving response and relationship.

Cats can teach your children about good hygiene and improve their reflexes, as cats require a certain degree of freedom and space yet still respect boundaries if taught properly.
