Nye In January: Armadillos

Nye is a homeschooled boy who spends his days exploring the environment around an old house on a nearby hill. He becomes friends with the animal inhabitants, and together they learn about who and what shares their space.

In January they are taken by surprise when they stumble upon an armadillo out foraging on a chilly winter's day.

Arnie might seem out of place, and the other animals on the hill have been treating him that way, but Nye and the mice take the time to get to know the newcomer and decide to help him adjust - or rather, help everyone else adjust to him.

Follow Nye and his friends on their first adventure, as they learn all about armadillos, climate change, and how to treat those who might seem different.
