NANDA Nursing Diagnoses 2007-2008

As a nurse, I have used the NANDA Nursing Diagnoses books for years, beginning in nursing school. It is far superior to any other nursing diagnoses books I have tried. The descriptors are detailed and very easy to use. It offers accurate and specific criteria to help develop the best nursing care plans.

Nursing Classification

In this electronic medical record environment, it is imperative to have nursing documentation standards on which to build. Utilizing the NIC, NOC and NANDA languages is an excellent way to accomplish standardized nursing languages during the build process of the electronic medical record development. This also encourages nursing to develop and use standardized and evidence-based care that then can be "individualized" for the specific patient.
