Nurse Nancy is always busy on her ward at Story Town hospital. When she hears the ambulance siren, she runs to see who it is. It's Builder Bill. But what's wrong with him? This description may be from another edition of this product.
Although my 2 1/2 year old preschooler LOVES this series (I've gotten her 8 so far: Builder bill, Queen Clara, PC Polly, Fabio, Hairdresser Hannah, Postman), I personally don't like the repetition of "fit as a fiddle". I find it slang-ish and not conducive to learning. Depite my prejudice, my daughter looks fwd to me reading about Nurse Nancy and asks me endless questions about the characters "Mummy, why did nurse nancy put a plaster on builder bill?" "Mummy why is Nurse Nancy riding a bike?" If not for "fit as a fiddle", it would get 5 stars. The characters are large and the pictures very cute, simple and bright. She's starting to memorize the words of the stories.
