A great book for beginners

This book teaches you everything from what the parts of the nunchuck are called, to how to defend agaist a Bo and Knife. I Highly reccommend this book for beginners. If you are not a beginner I recommend the book "Advanced Nunchaku" by the same author.

Great Beginner Book

Great beginner nunchaku book

It does exactly as it claims. A great beginning guide to TRADITIONAL nunchaku technqiue

good applications & technique - no kata

Demura does an excellent job of explaining basic techniques and applications for each, expecially for those with a decent martial arts background. Between looking at the pictures and reading the explainations I was able to figure out every technique demonstrated. The only downside was that he didn't include a kata in the book.

very descriptive and covers basic instructions

I was astonished at the results i received by using this book. It teaches the basics of nunchaku fighting and in no time you will be swinging that weapon like a proffesional.
