Great twists!

A stunning debut novel by Ms. Guisti, Nowhere to Hide keeps you guessing who the bad guys are and if the good guys are really what they seem. Lydia Sloan is running to protect her son, from persons involved with her husband's death. Protection comes in the form of handsome security chief, Matt Lawson who is determined to keep the residents of Sanctuary Island safe. Using a curious blend of mistrust and guilt, Lydia and Matt discover they are more similar than they care to admit. As the conflict swirls to a head, Lydia and Matt are forced to make difficult choices, giving the ultimate decision to God. Nowhere To Hide kept me reading far into the night and I'm definitely looking forward to many more novels by Ms. Guisti.

Wonderful read

Nowhere to Hide is a well-woven read. Giusti combines enough realistic suspense to make the story plausible, and an intricate faith thread that doesn't overwhelm the reader. Believable characters and a delightful setting round out this new author's debut novel.

Heart-pounding Suspense

Debby Giusti's debut novel, Nowhere to Hide, grabs you by the throat on page one and won't let go. Someone killed Lydia's husband, and now they're after her and her son. They've run to Sanctuary Island, off Georgia's coast. But she's not even sure she can trust the head of security for the island, Matt Lawson. Matt has his own secrets and painful memories. He plans to leave his job on the island as soon as he's replaced, but he's drawn to Lydia and her son. He wants to help Lydia find out who's after her and what they want. But even Matt might not be able to protect her. Giusti does a great job of balancing the romance, suspense and inspirational elements. She also has some amazing twists and turns in the plot. Just when I would think I had the story figured out, she would throw me off once again! I look forward to reading this author's next book in August.

Great, fast paced, high stakes novel...a must read

Someone's after Lydia for information she doesn't have. Ruthless men who will do anything to get what they want--including kidnap her son. Lydia won't turn to the police because they have her under suspicion for the setting the fire that killed her husband. Matt blew a case because of a woman and his partner died. He left the force and lives with the guilt. He's not likely to trust a woman with as many secrets in her eyes as Lydia. But the woman living in the house--tended by Matt's private security firm--is tempting, very tempting. Nowhere to Hide by Debby Giusti starts out with a bang and never lets up. Giusti makes the stakes sky high for Lydia and she's either running scared, fighting for her life (and her son's life) or agonizing over whether to tell Matt the truth. Nowhere to Hide is a fast paced, taut suspense novel from a talented new author. I'll be looking for Giusti's next book with anticipation.

Great Debut

A very enjoyable read. I forgot myself as I was drawn into Matt and Lydia's story. My first inspirational romantic suspense and I was pleasantly surprised. A well developed story and very likable characters. The inspirational thread was flawlessly woven into the suspense plot. I look forward to more from this author.
