wonderful

This book was really wonderful. It was my first Linda Howard book. I want to read all of her books. I strongly recommend anyone who loves suspense and romance to read this book. It just carries you to a new place.

Wow! What a thrilling read!

This is my second novel that I have read from linda howard and would not have missed it for the world. It's action packed and has romance to it. My favorite types of novels. Even though the couple in the book get together in a shockingly fast amount of time it did not ruin the book for me. I'm glad that I discovered this author since I was starting to run out of good author's to read. I'm going to have alot of fun reading her books. If you're looking for a good fast paced book with romance dont miss this one!

I found this book to be absolutely wonderful. I started reading it during my spare timw at work yesterday, and then i went home and stayed up till 4 am to finish it. I thought it was very addicting. This was the first Howard book I have read. I would have like the book to keep going after the epilogue because it felt like there wsa more of a story to be told, but I love the story line. I also liked the way she intertwined the mystery in with the romance. I will definately be looking forward to more of her novels if they are as good as "Now You See Her".

Wow! Wow! Wow!!

Linda Howard - you certainly have not lost your touch! This book grabbed me from the very first page (or I grabbed it!) and I polished it off in a day and a half! It was FANTASTIC!! It was so easy to picture Sweeney physically.She was so cute and vulnerable. Her relationship to Richard was very well done: I could feel the electricity from the two of them jump right off the page. Howard always has been good at sex scenes and she certainly does not disappoint! The suspense was taut and exciting. The paranormal was a great element - it reminded me of SON OF THE MORNING, which I believe was her finest effort. Even though that novel was about time travel, this one had the same kind of "supercharged, supernatural suspense" to it. Gosh! I loved it!! My heart is still racing from the excitement. (I just finished it half an hour ago!) Excellent and highly recommended.

Beautifully Chilling, Artfully Sensual

Yes, the puns are intended. An odd woman, Sweeny. She sees ghosts and goes into shock every time she walks in her sleep to paint pictures of the dead.Linda's characters will make you put your coat on one minute, but read on, and you'll be fanning yourself from the heat you feel for Richard. He can warm up my chilblains any day.You can't put this one down, but as always, Linda writes a page turner with characters so real you feel the hero nibbling on your ear. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves romantic suspense and doesn't pale at four-letter words.Why some readers insist on comparing this book to any other is beyond me. Each book an author writes stands alone and should be viewed as such. One may like a book better than another, but diversity in an author's writing is the most desirable trait she can have aside from enormous talent. I always look forward to every Linda Howard book. They're all great reads, and they weren't stamped out of a cookie cutter.
