Now and Then

This is the story of two women who met in unusual circumstances. They met in a school in the Midwest. Grace, who was trapped in this school for a time, was searching for a friend. She lived during the 1800s. Then there was Rhonda who came along and was able to communicate effectively with Grace. Rhonda was from today's era. Grace was thrust into this present time. She was elusive because she was unsure as to how she came to be here. Rhonda would come to encourage and guide Grace in this uncertain world. They both were searching for someone they could trust. In doing so, they shared their thoughts and experiences. Both were connected spiritually, and their friendship continued to grow, and they relied upon each other. Grace found comfort in the simple life. Rhonda's life was more complicated. As they continued to tell their stories, they both found they were similar in their faith. As their stories were told, they found they had a lot to share, including family and friends as well as others they met along the way. They both knew that God played an important role in their lives by his Spirit. Amen.
