An engrossing and informative account of the end of WWI.

In "November, 1918" Gordon Brook-Shepherd writes about the last 100 days of World War I, not only on the more familiar Western Front, but in every major theater of battle. He does an admirable job of demonstrating the interconnectedness of these different areas, showing, for instance, how the surrender of Bulgaria affected the will of Germany to prolong the War. Although there is a plethora of details, Brook-Shepherd never loses sight of the big picture, and he includes the thoughts and writings of not only generals and political leaders but common soldiers and citizens. A very interesting book - if you can find it!
