Organized by test, perfect for CNA and CNE test prep, expect to pass a test per week. I PASSED A TEST A DAY FOR FOUR DAYS STRAIGHT, then passed 3 tests in 2 weeks while working full time days. With your new CNE-4, expect the book to pay for itself in the first week of your new pay rate increase.....Mine did. Pass a test---get a raise..... ALSO, great DESK REFERENCE organized by subject area. Sections for each test, from CNA 4.1 through 4.1 ADVANCED ADMIN, 4.1 INSTALLATION, 4.1 DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION (NDS trees and replication), NETWORKING TECHNOLOGIES (protocol stacks), SERVICE AND SUPPORT (troubleshooting), AND NETWARE PRINTING....all the neccessary CNE 4.1 tests are presented in a clear and easily understood manner. Each section has enough depth for EXPERT LEVEL on-the-job real-world competence, AND is presented in about 200 pages per test. This makes each test easy to "get your arms around" very quickly; compared to all the other Netware books I've bought (lots), the information just flowed off the page and into my brain. This book made all that "complicated" Netware stuff very understandable. (PS. Take Netware Printing as your elective---so TCP/IP counts towards your MASTER CNE, since you will want to know printing and TCP/IP for today's market) As a desk reference, this book is a first-choice resource for quickly confirming the proper way Netware 4.1 should be installed, how to operate utilities, security issues, and how NDS replication should be configured.
