Challenging and enlightening

Jim does a great job in Nothing. With a very approachable manner about his writing style, I was able to work through the piece in a weekend. The subject matter that Jim attacks is the very fiber of our existence. It is almost something our mind would rather not have us read but we must. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for some guidance in regards to their own self actualization and purpose.

That which is...Nothing

This book has had a profound effect on my life for the better. If you can appreciate the meditative life..particularly 'mindfulness', being still, Zen...you will appreciate the words in this book. I hope these words leave you with Nothing at all. :-)

Peaceful and enlightening

Nothing is a peaceful look at one's mind and the positions, issues, and subconcious responses we all fall prey to every day. Reading it is like flowing along a cyclic path as the author takes you on a journey through the mind. The author has a unique perspective that is both intriguing and encouraging. For anyone looking to achieve greater insight into oneself, greater emotional maturity, Nothing is a wonderful book to help in building a substantial foundation for future growth. One doesn't have to "agree" with everything within Nothing to leave the experience of reading it with numerous jewels -- jewels that help provide that critical insight into oneself; jewels that become more and more apparent as one uses the lessons within to become more self-aware, more alive, more loving. In a way, Nothing is a significant part of everything. Thanks Mr. Sloman for your wonderful contribution.
