Beautiful, intellectual, and witty, young Leah Miller has all the makings of the perfect wife. All that is missing is an equally strong and successful mate to assist her on her journey of financial independence. But it is not exactly the happy ending she had imagined as she quickly realizes that although Charles may be everything she ever wanted, he's nothing she ever had; and before long her whole world takes an unexpected turn.
