Wonderful, insightful book.

I received this book from a friend in 1990. The copyright in the book is 1970, and the cost was a mere $2. I read this book at a time in my life when things were as bad as I thought they could get. I underlined passages, wrote notes on pages, and each time I read it, I feel like I'm getting in touch with myself again. It's an extremely good feeling when you can read your own thoughts and views on the world from someone else.. from someone you don't know. Everyone should read this book, and then pass it on to friends, or children.

outstanding

I've read many books by this author and I am always satisfied. These books not only express what and ineresting world it is through someone elses eyes but gives you the sight to see it for yourself. I found that I enjoy my own views on things a little bit more now than I ever did before. I suggest this book and the others for one of those peaceful nights at home along with some encouragement for the next day.

This book is theaputic like a true friend.

When I first read this book I thought someone had gone inside my head and rearranged my own thoughts and spoke them for me. It became a reference for me when I needed help with everyday stress showing me that no matter what, we are all in this together. I bought the book and whenever I came across a friend that seemed as though they needed some peace in thier lives, I would give it to them. I've given away five so far and I'm going to buy another one, this book is one I want to always have in my home
