Wisdom is the Best Form

This book is one I use every year as my beginning devotional. I really enjoy her perspective on life and always come away with new insights.

Passages

Margaret Guenther begins her forward with the definition of the word sojourner which contains the French word for day. In this way she reminds "us of our transience and of the inexorable passage fo time." Then in fresh, warm and challenging reflections she shares her faith journey. In these reflections, gathered in a variety of segments entitled "Friends and Sisters; Words; Work; Growing Old Life Goes On, the author shares the rich experiences of her childhood, career and personal life. Margaret Guenther is an Episcopal priest, spiritual director and retreat leader.
