The reviewer who states: "So poorly written it's not worth reading" is missing the point and doing a disservice to this book. Not on My Watch's content and message are spot on and an appropriate warning to entertainment and telecommunication business leaders in a time of accelerating change.
A pivotal book for a pivotal time!

"Not on My Watch: Hollywood vs. the Future" is a book that anyone interested in the future of the entertainment industry must read. Combining the experience and insight of a brand and marketing veteran like Peter Sealey with those of an entertainment industry heavyweight like Peter Dekom makes for fascinating reading. In a world of change bordering on chaotic, the authors lay a solid historical foundation for how we got in this mess. Then they make a clear case for the impact of digital technology on the business models of the entertainment industry and last and most important of all they lay out the future that all of us will have to deal with. While you might not like the future that the writers outline, you will not be able to argue with their conclusions. I would not be surprised to see some entirely new business models emerge as a result of this book.
