Walter Johnson studied hard so that he could pass the bar and become a lawyer. One man was against him and accused him of killing a young girl. He was found guilty and sent to prison. Joe Morgan ran the city of Richland and what he told the judge to do he did. All the police and judge were afraid of Morgan and did exactly what he told them to do. The warden was a friend of Walter's and he helped him while he finished his law classes in prison.
