This book, though a quick read, presents new evidence of and stimulates thought and discussion about the famous prophecies of Nostradamus and what these words, in the form of quatrains, may have foretold about the attack against New York City. He reviews many of the other quatrains in light of historical events. Periodically, our understanding of the prophecies of Nostradamus can be refreshed by examining current events and re-reading or re-interpreting some of the quatrains. But the method by which this has often been done, in earlier such books by different authors, can be said to lack respect for the reader's critical thinking skills. This is where Chris Conrad's approach differs, and refreshingly so. Instead of using Nostradamus's words to try to spoon-feed a preconceived point of view, Conrad shows where the prophetic dots are painted without attempting to connect them for the reader. For instance, he offers not one but several possibilities about many individual lines from quatrains, and ultimately lets the reader draw his or her own conclusions about the meaning of these lines, or in some cases, their validity. For this reason alone, this book is required reading for anyone really seeking to better understand the prophecies of Nostradamus, particularly after the September 11th attack on New York. Be prepared for a dynamic but factual discussion which will raise as many questions as it answers, rather than a tabloid sensationalist approach. Conrad does what a good professor would do: share the material, suggest possibilities, and entertain discussion. You will learn far more from this book than any other about Nostradamus's quatrains.

Mr. Conrad's book on Nostradamus is very readable. It includes telling quotes, pictures and diagrams exposing the more than coincidental relationship between the WTC disaster and the prophecies of Nostradamus. The meticulous style shows how carefully and accurately the author put together his information.
