This book takes an unusual look at North Carolina focusing on crafts, state parks, inns and b & bs and restaurants. It was useful in planning an itinerary although most of the bed and breakfasts mentioned were costly. (We have not yet tried the restaurants.) Writing style was good and the information, straight forward. I prefer to visit sites and places which are not crowded with tourists, so this was a unique approach to a popular state.
Very Informative

This was a very informative book. I gave this to my friend for his birthday. We sat down with our other friend and planned out places to go. It was very informative about the places and even listed the town I live in. I recommend it to anyone who likes day trips or learning about different places.

My wife and I were loaned a copy of this book from a neighbor - good book for folks who have recently moved to NC - gives us something to plan and look forward to come the nicer weather.
