These people are NOT normal

I love this book! It's about two very mentally ill people and their situationship with each other over the course of a few years. Lots of class commentary.

Obsessed. Completely obsessed

I’m madly in love with this book and wish it never ended. The HULU series did the book proud as well

I was attached to the characters after page one. Makes you think about your own decisions and encounters along the way, and how you’ve shaped your life.

Couldn’t put it down

Started this book at 9pm and couldn't stop reading it till I was finished at 4am. Fantastic read, entirely addicting.

Real Stories for Real People

Sally Rooney has a way of writing real life and real people with real stories and essence. This was no exception. It's life, and there aren't always happy endings, but rather a continuance of life and movement and evolution of people and their relationships.

Not much of a plot.

The plot was kind of boring in my opinion. It’s your generic love story. If that’s your thing, i totally recommend.

Amazing.

This will forever be my favorite book. I first read this novel back in 2019 and then reread in early 2020. It is an easy read and I recommend reading it. When you're done reading, I suggest watching the TV show adaptation of the novel on Hulu.

Very Real

It took a second for me to get into with the writing style but then I was hooked. The characters felt so real. I found myself yelling at the characters out of frustration (in a good way). Going to recommend this book to all of my friends. The Hulu series is great too. Follows the book spot on.

Heart Breaking

For some reason this book just grabs at your soul and pulls. I started reading it last year and I kept having to stop because I felt real heartbreak reading it. The style Sally writes in is unique and at first was a bit of a learning curve, but I still loved how intimate this story is. I think if you've ever been a young adult in love (whatever that love may have meant) you'll find connection to this.
