I love Mr. Kendall's conversational style of writing and teaching. I felt like I was just listening to a friend telling me all about helping my customers. His approach is very hands-on and really turns you from selling to serving, helping your clients solve their problems, and you forget that you're selling. When I started using some of these techniques, I found that my prospective clients were more willing to sign on the dotted line. My business is not exactly like those illustrated in the book, but Kendall talks about adapting the methods to your own business, as well as to your own personal style. You can tell he is popular with his own clients, and you feel like you belong in his group of friends. I recommend it!
