Book Overview

From ESPN's David Fleming, a father's memoir on the emotional journey from the death of his son to the birth of his daughter. A deeply moving, rare account of a father's unique perspective on grief: real and raw, but above all, redemptive. Although it opens with the harrowing tale of losing a child, the book is more about hope than death, more about what was learned than what was lost. This is a book all parents should read. But for grieving parents, and fathers in particular, Noah's Rainbow will show that, while the death of a child will change your life forever, it doesn't have to ruin it. Wonderful.

My husband and I lost our son, our first and only, at 40 weeks to a cord accident. I stumbled upon this book and read it from cover to cover in one sitting. It was so similar to the journey we are currently on, sometimes I marvled atthe words on the page. THis was our story. There wasn't a page I read where the tears, understanding, love, and heartache ceases to flow. Thank you, Mr Fleming, for writing a book from a father's...

Wonderful book - highly recommend for anyone who has lost a child or knows someone who has

When I heard about this book, I knew I wanted to read it. It's been over a year since my niece was stillborn, and this book has made me laugh and cry. When I'm done, I'm sharing it with my sister. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who has lost a child, or as a gift for anyone who has. It is an uplifting, realistic account.

A compelling journey of faith and fatherhood

Even as an avid reader, it has been a long time since I picked up a book that I simply couldn't put down until I finished it. Noah's Rainbow was one of these rare books. David Fleming writes with such raw honesty and emotion as to make his journey of faith and fatherhood captivating to any reader. This book is an amazing testimony of how one child's life changed a countless number of lives. The story of the Fleming family's...
