The favorite potty training book!

This is the favorite one of all my toddler's potty training books. My in-laws read and read this over and over and then tried to hide it because they read it so many times. My little one found it and wanted to read it again! Many kids start potty training because a peer is potty training and that is what this book is about. It is a very simple book and just adorable. Most potty training books are geared to a boy or a girl and this suits both just fine. If you have a little one that loves animals this is a sure winner. The artwork is wonderful.

Best book ever!!!!

I've been working with my 3 year old daughter on potty training for a couple months and not too much success. I read several books about potty training and did the whole sticker thing but nothing worked. I bought this book because it looked so cute and simple. I read it too my daughter once and she went right to her potty and took her pull up off and threw it away and said no more diapers only underwear. She has been wearing underwear ever since and no accidents and its been a couple weeks since that day. This book has a cute duck and pig in it. Summmary of the book is: The duck visits his friend the pig and wants to play but the pig cannot play just yet because he is going potty. The duck doesn't like his cold, wet diaper and decides to take it off and wants to use the potty too. He tells the pig he wants to use the potty and the pig says you wear diapers. The duck says no more diapers. The pig is done and washes his hands and such and the duck gets his turn on the potty and the pig waits for the duck to get done. She loves this book and I would buy it again and again. I'm going to buy this book for my nephew and niece too.

Delightful!

My 3 year old and 5 year old love this book and so do I! The pictures are wonderful, and the dialogue between the characters is very cute. This is a wonderful tool to get your little one thinking about the transition from diapers to the potty (and may even provide enough inspiration for him/her to try immediately)!

Ducky and Piggy are FABULOUS!

I love this book! My daughters ages 2 and 6 love this book. And even my husband loves it too! It is just so darn cute. We've read it a zillion times and still don't mind reading it again. I can't say that it inspired my 2 year old to use the potty but she was potty trained by her 2nd birthday. I am buying this book for friends and cousins with little ones. We checked the No more bottles for bunny out from the library and none of us were impressed.

A CUTE LITTLE BOOK FOR ONE ON ONE READING.

This is a neatly done and cute little book addressing the potty training issue. Ducky and her buddy Piggy, both in diapers, figure out that potty training does not come quickly in some cases, and is a "wait until its time" affair. This is a beginning reader which is best read with the child as it opens the door for many questions and good discussions at the child's level. The illustrations are quite good, the text is is excellent and goes well with the simple pictures. It has been about 40 years since I went through the potty training stages with my children, so it nothing else, it did bring back memories.
