Good book

My son enjoys reading this book and all the action words in it. He also likes to lift the flaps

Good Teaching Tool

This is a great parent or therapuetic teaching tool. Offers many positive things you can do with your hands besides hitting.

GREAT !

GREAT BOOK ! MY DAUGHTER IS TWO. SHE BRINGS THIS BOOK TO ME AND TELLS ME, "MOMMY, NO HITTING." WE BOTH LOVE THIS BOOK. SHE ALSO LOVES TO FLIP THE PAGES UP .

Good Book - About not being mad - not just hitting.

I bought this book to help my two kids learn about hitting. It is not really a book about hitting, but about all emotions. Not hitting, not sticking out tongue, not squeezing the cat, not being mad in general. My kids love all of these books. The lift the flaps are wonderful, the characters are cute and likeable, and the storylines are easy to follow for the kids.

Excellente book

We are working a lot on "No Hitting" issues. The book helps and my daughter is trying harder. I guess is just another tool to emphasized the lessons.

That's not okay... but I can do this instead

Good manners and teaching your child ways to verbally express themselves rather than hitting, squeezing, scribbling, sticking out their tongues or throwing a tantums. Each page starts out the same with ' I'm Mad.... and ends with " That's no okay, but I can.... After a few reading your child knows how each page starts & ends. Which makes them feel or at least my daughter feels like she is "reading" the book with me. I like that that Karen Katz draws children of all nationalities. My daughter also loves to help me lift the flaps on each page. I'd love it if this book was also put out in board book form.
