Book Overview

No Exit is a gripping tale of three young men from the same neighborhood, each with different dreams and aspirations. Despite their similar upbringings, they find themselves entangled in the drug game, climbing the ladder of success, only to face increasing obstacles as they ascend.

The allure of fast cars, fast women, and tax-free money draws them in, but they soon realize that there are indeed taxes to be paid - in the form of murder...

My Favorite

I read this book February 18, 2003. I didn't even realize I had not posted a review for my favorite. Tony, good kid not into the streets trying to do what's right in life. Dealt a bad hand with a dad who could careless and a mom working so hard she can't relax. E, typical everyday dude. Not looking for anything in life but a come up. Du Drop, Muslim, knowing he should be following his faith and listening to his father, but he love's the life as well. These three friends have no clue what they all have in common until they start hating on the one dude that they have been sleeping on! Not realizing who Nephew really is, once they find out they didn't know it was like that! Mr. Banks takes us on a hustle we all have heard of, but don't realize how real it is. This was the one story that I can say was truly True 2 Life.

A MUST READ

Here are a couple of adjective to descibe "NO EXIT," eminent, superlative, surpassing, and transcendent. For the two "educated women from brooklyn," the book was not suppose to be grammatical correct. It was street fiction. How many thugs/street niggas do you know who speak grammatical correct or articulate well. I'm also an educated woman who is working on my master degree and I found no flaws with the book. Mr. Bank keep up the wonderful work. I just found out that you released a new book title "BLOCK PARTY." This weekend I will be purchasing and reading I know it will be execellent. When I read "NO EXIT," I could not put it down I completed the book within a couple of hours. I know I can except the same or better from "BLOCK PARTY." I'm starting to look at Newark, New Jersey in a different way. KEEP THE BOOKS COMING.........

What The Book Game Been Missing

It comes with style like I'm here andyou will respect me.So Al-Saadiq it's time to step upso they could crown the king. THE RULER'S HERE

A MUST READ

To the author, I gots to give you your props, this book was good, I mean to the point i couldn't put the book down. You kept it real, you showed people how the street life can really turn someone out. i will recommend this book to everyone. and by the way to the reader that gave him a poor review and talking about the author not having a good education, he must have don't something right his book is selling, oh and by the way since you're a proofreader you must not be that good at it, because if so you would've caught your mistake when you wrote your comment, but you was to busy trying to catch someone else. anyway Al-Saaq Banks keep up the good work, waiting for the next one.

Straight Grit...

I really didn't know that New Jersey was this freaking hotttt!!! I guess I should open my mind more. This book was fast, and so realistic. 3 friends in search for that almighty dollar. I already told Al-Saadiq I hated the ending but this book is so true to life you can't deny.Du Drop, E, and Tony childhood friends who find themselves caught up in fast cars, money, women, murder, drugs. E a sheisty guy from the beginning played himself all the way through and he deserved his downfall he wasn't a real soldierDu Drop in his weakness for money he sold himself to the devil and lost his religion, a near death experience revived himTony the young school boy who took on the notorious alter ego of Nephew DANG.... he had me weak! (Angie said he would!) This young boy comes from the bench and rolls harder than his friends could've ever imagined. His thirst to enter college earned him a hustler's degree. READ THIS BOOK!!!!The author is real good peoples also
