Written from the unique perspective of a Southern woman, "No Defense" is an emotional and riveting legal thriller that explodes with surprising revelations up until the shocking courtroom climax. A Wyatt book for St. Martin's Press.
I loved this character-driven novel which is an authentic representation of the South and an astute dissection of family dynamics. LuAnn goes from being a daughter who is blind to her father's shortcomings to being a well-rounded character who must face the truth of history. Although this is not a legal thriller per se, the legal issues are entertaining, especially for the reader who is not a lawyer. I look forward to reading Ms. Wallace's next book!
Excellent, the best thing to come out of the South for years

This has to be the best book that I've seen come out of the South for years. This is quite an original story. LuAnn Hagerdorn is a working women of the 90's sucked back in to a web of the past. She develops each character perfectly. I hope to see more work out of this new author
A good read.

I read this book and enjoyed it. It's a kind of hybrid: small town mystery, love story, a story of family. The writing is clear and solid. It's a fun read.
