America's favorite trouble maker will fill your home with good-natured laughter in this brand-new board book that celebrates 20 years of the bestselling, Caldecott-winning classic When David Shannon was five years old, he wrote and illustrated his first book. On every page were these words: NO, DAVID . . . and a picture of David doing things he was not supposed to do.Now David is all grown up. But some things never change. . . .Twenty years after its initial publication, No, David remains a perennial household favorite, delighting children, parents, and teachers alike. David is a beloved character, whose unabashed good humor, mischievous smile, and laughter-inducing antics underline the love parents have for their children -- even when they misbehave.
The book was falling apart even though I bought it in "very good condition". I am not impressed with the condition of the book.
Not “Good” condition! Not in condition to be sold at all

This book actually belongs in the trash. Pages are torn out and it has marker colored on every page.
Not in what I would call "good" condition.

Some pages had ripped pages, some pages had dried food on them. It's an old library book, which would be fine if it was "good" condition, but it isn't. The binding was also loose inside the book. Will not be ordering "good condition" books here anymore as it's not sufficiently "good" to last any amount of time with a child reading it.
No, David!

Absolutely not happy with my order. It had writing all in it. Duct tape on one of the pages to hold it together. This was not in the description at all. Very disappointed in this!
Torn page

I ordered a good condition book, but the first page was half missing. It should’ve been listed as acceptable.
The condition is TRASH!

I ordered a “good” condition and received a book with torn pages and one page completely torn out and missing! It should have been trashed, not resold! I am very upset and disappointed!
No, David! Read the book? Yes.

No, David! was actually written by the author (David), when he was 5. He later rewrote it and published No, David! The book's concepts are all too familiar to most parents & kids, but beyond the bright colored illustrations and NOs for bad deeds, the story wraps with the mother loving David no matter what. Young kids will get a kick out of all the No, David! illustrations & parents will enjoy the proof that they aren't the only ones using all the dreaded lines our parents used on us.
my daughter loves it!

Great book to introduce Spanish

My son LOVES the No,David series of books, and at 2 years old knew them all by heart. This book is a great way for him to be exposed to Spanish. He is starting to read along in both Spanish and English, which is great! I would highly recommend this book!
AWESOME first reading book!

My four-year-old twin boys read this book over and over again! They recite the "No, David!" story in the car, in the store, in the tub, and just about any other place! Every child (and adult!) can relate to this story...we've ALL been David! It's a wonderful book for teaching kids to read and recognize words. I have recommended this book to all of my friends with preschool age children.
