Roshan DeLongpre, a tormented vampire, travels back in time to save a hauntingly beautiful witch from death and, bringing her back to the present, battles against a dark magic that will stop at nothing to destroy them both. Original.
I just loved Roshan and Brenna. Roshan is tired of his existence and ready to end it all when he reads about Brenna being burned as a witch at the stake and decides to try and go back in time to save her. Needless to say, he saves her from being burned at the stake and brings her back to his time. I rather agree with the reviewer that says it is kind of like the movie Somewhere in Time, which has always been a favorite of mine. This is a fantastic and wonderful read and I highly recommend it!

I wasn't sure I wanted to start another Vampire series by yet another author--I was simply afraid that the rules one author used would conflict with another--and I had actually found three authors who seemed to have the same rules--one who had not--Miss Ashley is one to join the rules of the three with a decided twist--which I really liked. I will no doubt be going back to get the books before this one--and definitely the books after!

I personally don't see why people disliked this book. It may not be as good as her previous ones, but it is amazing in it's own way. The thought of a man refusing to let time stand in the way of him and his true love, is incredible. It actually reminds me a lot of Somewhere in time. With a dark, lustful, and morbid twist, perhaps. but the story is the same isn't it? A man sees a picture of a beautiful woman, and goes through time to find her. I loved this story, because of it. The romance is sizzling, and raw, like in most of Amanda's books. My personal favorite though is Embrace the Night and a Whisper of Eternity. But this is also an amazing read. If you're a die-hard fan of ms. Ashley's, then you won't be dissapointed. However, if you are new to her work (and don't admire her all ready) this may seem unusual and strange for you, since you aren't fimiliar with her. And this book IS very Amanda Ashley. She wrote about vampires, aliens, cowboys, heroes. What will she do next? I can't wait for her books to come out, because I know they'll be as amazing as the last. I strongly advise you to read this

I've never read before I picked up this book. This book showed me that reading was a very fascinating joy. It only took me about two days to read all of it. I could not, I repeat not put it down. I'm only fifteen years old, and I've finally discovered reading all because of Night's Kiss. It's a book so perfect, you can't explain it in words. I fell in love with this book. I also fell in love with the characters Roshan and Brenna. Amanda Ashley is my all-time favorite author. I've been reading like there's no tomorrow, because of all her books. I really recommend this book. And I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
