Co-authored by white university creative writing professor, James Pendleton, and a black writer, Jerome Johnson, this is the life of Braxton Bragg, a black man in the capital of the modern... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Johnson and Pendleton are an amazing team. They combine humor and suspense in this eye-opening and draw dropping book. You won't want to put this book down. The book follows Braxton, a janitor, through his nights (and sometimes days) working in the Metro Richmond area. This book is witty, exciting, and sad. Johnson and Pendleton describe clearly the social undoings of the Richmond area and the problems the city faces. This "novel" is a must read for all! A Janitor's life has never been so interesting. Bravo to the authors! I hope that there is a follow-up book to come! Thanks for the wonderful read.
