Night Ride

The first bike is usually a tot's bike, then along the road during the teen age years, maybe a "Paperboy Special" to earn a little money. When throwing papers went away, many graduated to a racing type road bicycle or a mountain bike, usually for exercise or competition. In this story, the bike begins it, but the results are unexpected, rapid and life changing. There's robbery, assault, and maybe love. This short story will bring back memories...at least the two-wheel variety.
