This is indeed a "nice" and pleasently short (169 pocket sized pages) introductory German grammar book. (However I don't think that anybody can claim to be able to make German grammar "easy", but they've given it a good try!). Extensive use is made, in simple langauge, of analogies between English and German constructions. This is a good and very often necessary "first line of attack" for newer students in particular. More advanced students may find it at times a little lacking in "meat", however. I think its well worth considering especially at the very reasonable price of 5 dead presidents.
