Story of Friendship

This novel is a beautiful coming-of-age story about a young girl who struggles with low self-esteem, her weight and finding friends. During the course of the novel, she grows, makes a friend and through this a young reader is able to make connections about decisions for self-awareness and self-care. I remember this one growing up, and it's stayed with me for years. I still think about the two girls involved in this story quite often.

great book hard to find

I had this book when I was growing up, so actually I bought it for sentimental value...there are so many out of print books that I loved and this was one of them. Thanks for prompt service! It is in great condition.
