This story takes place in a city during the years 1957-1958. Puppets took a very important role in those days. This book is mostly about a 12 year old girl whose name is Peggy. She is a new girl at school and city, she has to meet a whole bunch of people. She meets two new neighbors that help her out a lot. Her neighbor and she enter a puppet contest and try to win it. In my opinion this book is a great guide if you are new somewhere. It explains how a girl goes from shy to confident. I would recommend this book because it motivates you to have confidence in yourself.
Wonderful!
