Great all around...

I had no problems receieving this book. The book itself is excellent, I enjoyed it. It was also in great condition.

Calm before the storm

Some Human's see "M" day as the day God has made there dream come true. Wiping out 90% of the mutant gene in mutants it makes it a perfect chance to get rid of the rest. And what's the biggest target? Xavier's School! Some big events happening but we all feel it's not till volume 2 where things heat up!

Solid start

Art is good and feels correct with the tone. Story is pretty good and the end cliffhanger is great. Worth checking out.

loved it

Dark, fearful, and moving towards chaos.

This is by far one of the best X-men spinoff comics to be written. The plot ties in with the story of "M-Day", and a large number of mutants have lost their powers. This, of course, leaves the remaining mutants very vulnerable. And it doesn't help that few of the students trust the newcomer, X-23/Laura. The artwork is superb, the story is more than dark enough to grab your attention, and the "new X-men" are easy to relate to. However, not many of the classic mutants appear- but don't worry, it's got Wolverine. Note: This particular comic (and probably the volumes that follow) will be a lot more interesting for you if you read "X-23: Innocence Lost", by these same authors. The story of X-23 is one of the most gripping stories I've ever read, comic or otherwise.
